Electrifying Swedish rock outfit ÅSKVÄDER delivers a high-voltage blend of blues-infused melodic rock, fusing raw nostalgia with a modern edge. Their sound is rooted in the spirit of the ’90s Scandinavian rock scene, driven by scorching riffs, bluesy leads, and shimmering harmonies. Thunderous drums and a grooving bass foundation collide with catchy pop hooks and gritty guitars, creating a powerful, no-frills rock experience.
True to their name—Swedish for “thunderstorm”—ÅSKVÄDER brings an explosive force of pure Rock ’n’ Roll.
Following their debut EP Quick Fixes (2018), the self-titled debut album (2020), Fenix (2022) and the Electric Tide EP (2023), extensive touring across Scandinavia, Germany and Spain established Åskväder as one of Sweden's most exciting contemporary rock bands. In 2025, charismatic frontwoman Saga Flygare Täll joined as lead vocalist and guitarist, marking a new chapter for the band. A third full-length album, Wax (2026) was released in collaboration with Icons Creating Evil Art.
